辦公室裏的小崩潰時刻

這些絕對是真實案例，都是近來令筆者在辦公室自己位子裏小崩潰了一下的事件。

1.
我在處理一堆Excel檔案申請表時發現有幾份的申請日期寫的正正是我看到那文件的當天，我還在想這些都是幾個月前的申請，沒有可能。
按下申請日期一欄，發現申請者填上了以下的Excel formula
=TODAY()
天啊﹗你有沒有想過其他人的感受？

客戶發來一個有股票交易指示的Excel 檔案，它的格式我們可以直接上載到公司系統裏。
當大家在很高興過程是全自動(Straight Through Processing - STP)的時候，後來發現有一些交易客戶放了TBC (To Be Confirmed)在股票編號一欄，但是澳洲股市是有TBC這一個股票編號的。系統自然誤會了在市場上做了相關的交易。



3.
以下是我被Copy的一個電郵來往。話說有一個列出過期項目(Slippage item)數目的統計報告 (Management Information report)，它只會講各個團隊有幾多個過期項目，要再參考其它報告才知道過期項目的內容。所以有一個團隊發電郵給負責發出這些報告的隊伍查詢﹕

團隊: Can you tell me what is slipping?

報告隊伍: Slipping is when the scheduled date has to be moved to a later date than the current date.

團隊: But what is actually slipping? I am being asked.

報告隊伍: Slipping is for example the original due date of the item is 31 September 2016, then the completion of the item is delayed to 31 December 2016. According to the Company Policy slippage of item has to be approved by xxx xxxxx xxx.......... (下刪幾十字) Does this answer your question?

團隊(已經崩潰中): No. What is actually slipping?

報告隊伍: [附加了policy 內容的screen shot] According to Section XX.XX of the Global XXXX XXXXX Policy, slippage is defined as xxxx xxxxxx xxx x x xx (下刪幾十字).

The so and so item that your team is responsible for had an original due date of DDMMMYYYY and is already past, therefore it is considered a slippage item.

報告隊伍回覆的不是甚麼實習生，而是一位高級經理。
